Born into a pottery artist family in Karatsu, Saga
(one of the most famous production place of pottery)

Graduated from Kyusyu Sangyo University (major in formative art)

Became an apprentice to his grandfather who was the 4th generation of the family
He was born in the family which used to produce pottery as a tribute to the lord. Keeping the tradition inherited from the ancestors, he is also trying to find his unique expression which is rather unconstrained.
