Born into a pottery artist family in Seto
(one of the most famous production places of pottery)

Became an apprentice in Seto

2004

Became a professional pottery artist

His family has been making pottery since the end of Edo period (about 150 years ago). Keeping the traditions inherited from the ancestors, he is also trying to find the new way. His specialty is mainly “ORIBE”, which is known for its beautiful green and blue glaze.
